An FCA ‘big four’ qualified Chartered Accountant (Qualified from an affiliate firm of Deloitte) with over 12 years experience gained in the field of large scale Local and MNCs Audit, Tax & VAT, Valuation, Due-diligence, IPO issues, Loan Restructuring, Investigation and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Mr Tarik is a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) under CBV Institute, Canada. His practice is varied - pure valuation, litigation support, M&A support and fair value reporting etc. He is an accredited expert in International Valuation Standards (IVS) from iiBV, USA and CBV Institute, Canada.

Being an expert in IFRS he frequently advises clients in the field of complex financial instruments, deferred tax, revenue, lease and others.

His expertise includes assessing an existing control environment of an entity under a prevailing structure, evaluate the effectiveness and advising on improving the Internal Control through benchmarking or best practice.

Mr. Tarik has considerable expertise in articulating business plan taking into account the micro and macro economic situation, local and global markets scenario, rivalry from the competitors, opportunities ahead and other influential factors that are relevant.

Tarik’s recent valuation experiences include Golden Jubilant Foods (Domino’s Pizza), Best Tycoon (VIVO Mobile), Aggreko Bangladesh (3 entities), Le Méridien Dhaka, Sanofi Bangladesh, Nuvista Pahrma, Robi Axiata, OP- SEED, ACI Group (2 entities), Bti, RAK Group (3 entities) and many more. He has assosciation with PWC-Deals, Kroll, iba and many other global organization. 

Tarik’s major current and recent audit and advisory clients include ACI Group, Apex Footwear, Intertek, Daraz, Doreen Power,TVS Auto, Superstar Electronics, Novo Nordisk, Whirlpool, Marico, Paxar, LAUGFS GAS, Shimanto Bank, EDISON, EnergypacEngineering, Barisal City Corporation, Bangladesh Army, Banglalink etc.

He conducts various training and workshops in the capacity of Instructor both in the corporates and at ICAB. Works as a regular faculty of ICAB and teaches Financial management and Strategic Business Management. Tarik has authored a book titled “Revised Auditor’s Report” in 2019 useful for professional accountants, corporate executives, academics and students.
