Mr. Hassan has more than 25 years of experiences working with Development Partners (DPs) funded projects and international NGOs. He served in an international health research organization in a senior management position for 10 years. Before that he served for one year in a private business conglomerate in Saudi Arabia. He left the industry in 1998 and joined in the present practice. His experience in Bangladesh include, conducting Pre-award Assessments and Accountability Reviews of grant recipients, conducting functions of Local Fund Agent to development partners and international funding agencies.

Mr. Hassan is also engagement partner for various audit and assurances services of MNC and international organizations, besides providing business advisory services to various foreign investors at Bangladesh Export Processing Zones.

Mr. Hassan is involved in project appraisal, compliance audit, overhead rate certification and special investigation as engagement partner. He has provided consultancy services in the area of financial and management issues to various development partners and international agencies such as the World Bank, DFID, USAID, Global Fund, Swisscontact, SDC, IUCN etc. Additionally, he leads HVC’s management consulting services to Health & Nutrition sector, development projects in Bangladesh. Mr. Hassan was appointed sole Verification Agent in Bangladesh by New Zealand Consulate General, Hong Kong to provide New Zealand Immigration Services with robust verifications of facts and information, by way of an independent professional investigation, in a market where information provided by immigrant visa applicants is often unreliable and fabricated. As a Financial Management Specialist he traveled to Afghanistan, Uganda and Tanzania. He presented a keynote paper on Foreign Exchange Regulations & Banking Services for Airlines operating in Bangladesh held in Thailand at the invitation of Standard Chartered Bank.
